Honest Crate & Barrel Couch Review (After Living with Them)

Are you in the market for new couches? Nothing says living room makeover like new a new couch!

After living with our Crate & Barrel Lounge Deep Couches for the past 10 months, I feel ready to share an honest, real-life review. When we were shopping for couches, comfort was just as important as style – we wanted something cozy for movie nights and TV show binging but also a timeless style that will look good in 5 years or 10 years.

Some of our friends also have these couches and we always loved how they looked in their home and how incredibly comfortable they were. So for us, the decision was easy!

Comfort
One of the biggest reasons we chose the Lounge Deep was comfort, and they absolutely deliver! The deep seats make them the ideal couch for curling up with a blanket and a movie after a long week at work. They also are perfect for those girls nights where you just sit and chat and catch up! Every time we host, guests comment on how comfortable and cozy the couches are.

Crate and Barrel does offer 3 different depths, which is great! So if you want a couch that is more for sitting up vs. lounging in, I would simply get the 36″ Classic style.

Durability
Durability was also a huge factor for us. If you follow me on Instagram or TikTok, then you know we have two big dogs. One of them is 183 lbs… so whatever couches we purchased needed to support them. We’ve had the couches for almost a year and they have held up beautifully with no damage. We even had an incident where some blood on one and it came right out. The Taft Fabric is performance fabric so it is great for stains and dog paws!

Style
As I mentioned above, we wanted couches that were a timeless look in our home. Couches can be an investment piece, so we didn’t want something trendy for now. We want to love these couches in 5 years or 10 years! The style of the Lounge Deep Couches is timeless and classic. There isn’t any trendy design or feet or cushions. These couches are simply traditional, classic couches that will go with any home style.

Overall, the Lounge Deep Couches have proven to be a great investment for our lifestyle. They’re comfortable without being sloppy and sturdy without feeling stiff. If you’re looking for a couch that can handle real life – you can stop looking 🙂
